Episode #2 of the Sound of History podcast. This episode focuses on West Berlin with two historic speeches from that city. The first speech was made 2 years after the Berlin Wall was built, and the second 2 years before the wall came down. These speeches are from John F. Kennedy in 1963 and Ronald Reagan in 1987. This episode also contains a very brief summary of the history of the Berlin Wall and a 1920s recording by Benny Goodman.
